information about the vineyard site
At the Neusiedlerwald (forest) is the biggest coherent vineyard site in Spannberg. This did not come by chance: Because of the rolling landscape shape, it is not susceptible to frost and allways laid in the sun. Chernozem bedded on chalky loess provides a perfect initial situation, especially for fruity white wines.
information about wine maturing
Yield regulation by grape splitting. Harvested by hand and destemmed. Fermented at 18 °C (65 °F) in stainless steel tank. Long sur lie resting.
wine description
Grüner Veltliner in a different taste: The scent of honeydew melon and quince as well as a pleasant residual sweetness reflect the many facets that are inherent in this variety. Due to the special ripeness of the grapes, there is the full-bodied bouquet, which shows interesting aromas even after longer bottle aging.
drinking temperature: 8 – 10 °C (46 - 50 °F)

Goes well with poultry and Asian food.
